2010 . hawaii

For the last week of January I had the chance to head down to Hawaii at the expense of my generous family (thanks again!). I would have been nuts to not go! Six nights in Hawaii is plenty of time to have a great time. I only took my camera to the beach on the last day and was met with tons of ocean spray, which wasn't too nice on the lens. Hopefully you will enjoy the set!

01 . On the golf course of the house we were staying at.

02 . Heading out to Captain Cook Bay, claimed to be the best snorkeling spot in Hawaii. I got so caught up in snorkeling and diving off the boat I forgot to get any photos of the actual place!

03 . There were tons of humpback whales breaching in the ocean. The huge splash could be seen all the way from shore. Our captain guessed this young calf may have been born the previous night.

04 . Beautiful bay.

05 . Boosh, big explosion! Oh, hi!

06 . On the wet side of the island (Hilo), a tower of palm trees.

07 . Field.

08 . Falls.

09 . Flower!

10 . Ant Race 500 on this flower.

11 . I may need to calm down with the f-stop a little bit.

12 . Hokey Pokey.

13 . Much cooler than the Geico Gecko will ever be.

14 . Sunset.

15 . Prior to the Wolf Moon.

16 . One is the Loneliest Number.
